I don't want your pity I don't need you to tell me
How I could've lived my life differently
I know that this isn't it and that God has a plan for me
Everybody wanna put in their two cents
But don't want to pay for the quality
Just like when they see the color of my skin
Well so much for equality that's another story
Just like my pacifism when you're on my territory

I'm just trying to sublime not be subliminal
I don't need everybody thinking that I'm a cynical criminal
I promise this is medicinal even if you ain't feeling it
Guarantee that it's visceral and I know that it is difficult
Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
And I don't do it for fame
I do it so that you remember Him
I love all my haters they are my motivation
I don't need to confront 'em
Let em call me evasive I'm prized in God's eyes
Don't need your validation
Your opinion's irrelevant don't be so basic

Thankfully I'm flying with the Lord
And I am soaring on His grace now
Plus I think the crown of Earth's irrelevant
Is face value watching all these people
Going after the crown like a child
You get me thinking that I'm dealing with children

Music like numbers I add up to be
So proficient in everything that I can see
I don't need you to tell me who I have to be
I was 23 with a wife and a car and our own place to live
That's a lot to receive and the reason
I'm growing and thriving is because my
God is the one who has planted the seed
